BOD Bites (Banana, Oats and Dates)




BOD Bites (Banana, Oats and Dates)  

This a great for breakfast they are quick and easy and very filling
My sister gave me this recipe :-) 
You will need:
  • ·      Extremely ripe bananas
  • ·      Rolled oats
  • ·      Dates
  • ·      Desiccated coconut
  • ·      Mixing bowl
  • ·      Mixing tool
  • ·      Fork
  • ·      Baking tray
  • ·      Cookie cutter 
Preparation:
  • ·      Ensure that you have soaked your dates overnight
  • ·      Ensure bananas are very ripe (put them in a black bag or in a cupboard to quicken the process) 


 Place bananas in mixing bowl and mash with a fork.

  Add soaked dates and some of the juice from the dates 



        Combined dates into mashed bananas


  Add about two table spoons of desiccated coconut and mix in 

     Add oats (add as much oats until the mixture is not as wet)
 Get baking tray divide mixture with cookie cutter 

Place tray in the oven on gas mark 6 for 15 mins



Flip after 15 mins and leave in the oven until the bites are brown.
